Biography

Adenike drives investments for LeapFrog’s $350 million investment partnership with Prudential Financial, targeting life insurance companies in leading economies across Africa.

Before taking the leap to LeapFrog, Adenike worked at Africa Finance Corporation, a pan-African development finance institution. There, she was responsible for sourcing, executing and managing power and heavy industries investments across Africa. She was instrumental in AFC’s largest merger transaction, which combined seven assets across five African countries. Prior to this, Adenike worked as an Assistant Manager, Financial Advisory Services at KPMG, where she was in charge of a team advising companies entering Nigeria’s telecommunications and financial services sectors. She was a pioneering member of the KPMG Nigeria Global Strategy Group. Adenike began her career at Vetiva Capital Management Limited, a boutique investment banking company, where she worked in the investment banking team.

Adenike holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Honours) from the University of Lagos, and a Masters in Finance and Investment (Distinction) from the Nottingham University Business School. Adenike is also a Chartered Accountant (ACA and AAT).
