Biography

Jyrki Koskelo;  Senior Advisor, professional Board Member and entreprenour, retired from a position of Global Vice President in IFC after a 20 plus year successful career.  He is most noted at IFC for his relentless drive for de-centralisation of activities to be located closer to clients, management and growth of financial markets activities, and large global initiatives such as the Vienna Initiative, Global Trade Program and IFC’s first subsidiary – IFC Asset Management Company. Since leaving IFC, Jyrki Koskelo has worked on multiple Africa focused initiatives with DFIs including AATIF ( KfW sponsored agri value chain fund), with Africa focused entities listed in European stock markets ( ADC, Atlas Mara and MyBucks) and clean energy initiatives.  He is also active as senior Advisor and Board Member in Central Europe and Middle East.
