Biography

Marc is the managing principal and a key man in the Metier Sustainable Private Equity Practice, he has been integral in the creation and management of the Lereko Metier Sustainable Capital Fund and two affiliated funds which target investment in renewable energy, energy efficiency, water and waste in Southern Africa and currently are invested in a portfolio exceeding 550MW.

Marc gained significant development experience in being a founder of the Bokpoort CSP project which is now commissioned and garnered multiple awards including project finance deal of the year, energy project of the year, renewable energy project of the year and African community project of the year. The project, representing c. $500m of total investment, has the largest molten salt storage capability relative to its nameplate of 50MW globally and is located in the Northern Cape.
