Reginald Massawe is the Managing Director and Founder of AML Finance Limited, one of Tanzania’s fastest-growing microfinance institutions. With over 28 years of experience in senior leadership roles, Reginald brings a unique blend of expertise in human resources, microfinance, and enterprise development.
He began his career in human resources management in 1996 and has held key positions in leading organizations, including Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania, National Bank of Commerce, and Muhimbili National Hospital. Since founding AML Finance in 2010, he has focused on expanding access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), driving financial inclusion across Tanzania.
Reginald holds an MBA from the University of Dar es Salaam, a Diploma in Personnel Management from the UK, and degrees in Education. He is a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative (ALI) and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN).
