“Oliver joined Pan African Capital Group, LLC in 2020 and brings a wealth of experience in renewables, energy and financial services across the continent. Oliver manages Strategic Initiatives for PACG, focusing on new business initiatives in the office’s advisory and investment business lines. In addition to PACG’s early stage investing, Oliver also oversees value creation initiatives for it’s portfolio in Ghana and Kenya, working closely with the management teams in developing and executing their vision, growth strategies, and strategic initiatives.

Oliver began his career with Aureos Capital in 2010 spearheading ESG and portfolio management for its investments in Southern Africa. Afterwards he worked with PACG portfolio company International Bank Liberia Limited to implement new lending procedures and grow its commercial lending business. He spent five years at ExxonMobil as the business development and government relations lead for new exploration in Sub Saharan Africa. Additionally, Oliver worked closely with PACG portfolio company GridX Africa to secure its early projects and spent time at the Ministry of Finance in Ghana developing a plan to increase renewable generation while reducing existing debts in the power sector.

Oliver received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Georgetown Walsh School of Foreign Service. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School for his MBA and MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School. He was born in Kenya and is based out of New York.”
