“Michael Jenrich was brought up on a farm, did an agricultural apprenticeship and studied agriculture (MSc) in Germany and worked on several crop and animal production farms in Germany.

Working and living in Africa since 1992, in practical farming, rural and agricultural development with private and public sector and international organisations.

Agronomist with 35 years in the regions (east and southern Africa), experience in diverse settings and contexts in international cooperation and all fields of agriculture, market and market links, extension design, management and training of trainers, trade and systems, contract farming management design and coaching.
Extensive experience in practical agriculture, management in numerous value chains and settings. Skilled in the development and implementation of contract farming (CF), climate change, market links, extension and seed production programs, out-grower schemes, commercial farming and faming systems.

Presenting the Horticultural Development Council, (HDC), which is the sectors Apex Body, with the mandate to promote the growth of Zimbabwean horticultural exports.”
