Anne Njuki is Founder and Managing Director of Sayuni Capital. Sayuni Capital invests debt & mezzanine finance in profitable small and medium businesses owned by female and local entrepreneurs in East Africa. Prior to founding Sayuni, Anne worked as a senior investment professional at DOB Equity and as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Lagos & Nairobi. She is passionate about shifting Africa’s growth narrative by working with entrepreneurs to create value and drive lasting impact. Anne holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Master of Business Administration in Social Entrepreneurship and Strategy from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She serves on the board of Digital Divide Data, and on Duke University’s Fuqua Middle East and Africa Regional Advisory Board.
