Biography

Paul Ouma is a Partner based in the Nairobi office and co-Head of Africa Advisory with over 16 years of experience. Prior to CrossBoundary, Mr. Ouma spent several years in advisory and principal investing. Mr. Ouma started his career in Deloitte’s financial advisory services group in Chicago where he performed business and intangible asset valuations relating to M&A, tax reorganizations, financial reporting and management planning activities. Mr. Ouma has since worked for the International Finance Corporation executing debt and equity transactions across Sub-Saharan Africa in the manufacturing and services sectors, a family office with a real estate focus in Kenya and most recently with an Africa focused private equity firm. Mr. Ouma holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance with a minor in Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago.
