Biography

Dr. Ola studied Medicine and Surgery at the Hull York Medical School and obtained a (MBBS) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She also holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Economic Policy (Major) from the University of London and a certificate in Accounting for Decision Making from the University of Michigan in the United States. She is currently rounding up her Ph.D. She commenced her career working in Acute Medicine in the UK. She was later awarded the Japanese MEXT scholarship, which enabled her to pursue lab-based research with induced pluripotent stem cells in Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Ola Brown co-founded and managed funds at Greentree Investment Company, which delivered an impressive IRR of 25% to its Limited Partners (LPs). She also founded a healthcare company that scaled, actively serving 47 out of the 54 countries in Africa. She has written five books on healthcare and finance in the global market, including; ‘Economics, Banking & Finance in Emerging Markets’, and ‘Journey to Series A’.
