Biography

Omar Saleh founded Khazna with the vision of improving the financial well-being of underserved individuals and micro-businesses by providing simple, user-centric and technology driven financial services. Prior to founding Khazna, Omar was head of Middle East and North Africa at WorldRemit, a leading cross-border payment company, where he led the company’s expansion into the region. Prior to that, he was head of business development and strategy at ADES International, where he led the post IPO growth phase including the direct investment of ~$400M across the Middle East. Omar holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Cairo University and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.
