Biography

Kumbulani Masayila (Kumbulani) is a Graduate of Stanford Graduate School of Business run Stanford Ignite program in New York City, USA. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Upvest Group. He works at the confluence of impact investing, trade, and entrepreneurship to champion inclusive socioeconomic development in Southern Africa. In February 2019 he was named a Change Maker by the African Leadership Institute (AFLI). He is a recipient of several awards like the Enactus Service Leadership Award that demonstrate his commitment to making the world a better place through business. He is passionate about impact investing.

Kumbulani Masayila is the Zimbabwe Country Representative for Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit (ATIGS) Dubai 2020. He is a certified Project Management Professional and has completed training on Unlocking Investment and Finance in Emerging Markets and Developing Nations course offered by the World Bank.
