Speaker Submission Guidelines

AFSIC – Investing in Africa is one of the continent’s leading investment events, connecting investors with Africa’s most exciting business, trade, and investment opportunities.

Who We’re Looking For

Our Speaker Committee gives preference to:

  • African business leaders seeking investment for their companies
  • Institutional investors looking to originate new opportunities
  • Dealmakers such as investment bankers, corporate advisors, and equity or debt specialists

A limited number of complimentary full-access passes are available for selected speakers (excluding travel, accommodation, or paid add-ons).

If you’re not an investor or dealmaker but wish to promote your product or service in Africa, contact Emma Rynn at emma@afsic.net to explore sponsorship or exhibition opportunities.

Topic Guidelines

When submitting your session idea, please ensure it is investment-focused. We welcome:

  • African companies seeking institutional investment
  • Investors from private equity, listed equity, DFIs, sovereign funds, impact funds, and asset managers
  • Dealmakers and analysts offering insights into Africa’s investment landscape

We value dynamic, engaging, and non-promotional content that adds real value for attendees.
