Biography

Jonathan de la Pasture
BSc (Hons), First in Business Studies (Finance)
Jonathan is a Cape Town based Portfolio Manager at Stanlib and has managed Liberty’s Africa Specialised Credit Fund since May 2014. Jonathan has over 24 years of experience as a loans professional and has arranged financings across the full spectrum of credit from corporate lending to leveraged, infrastructure and project finance. Prior to joining the Liberty Group, Jonathan was a senior member of Barclays Africa’s management team and was responsible for Barclays’ loans business across Africa. Jonathan started his career at UBS in London in 1993 before moving to Barclays Capital in 2000 as a Director with a focus on Infrastructure and Project Finance. He holds a First Class Honours Degree from City University, London.
