The 2015 AFSIC conference will take place on Tuesday 12th May and Wednesday 13th May 2015 at the Hilton Metropole, Brighton.

The objective of the Africa Financial Services Investment Conference is to increase investment into Africa’s financial services sector by bringing listed, and unlisted financial services companies from across Africa together with debt and equity institutional investors, and other interested parties. The 2015 is likely to attract substantial numbers of companies as the event is rapidly becoming a key event for African financial service companies.

Over 125 companies including including banks, insurance companies, micro-lenders, leasing companies etc. attended the 2014 event. These included representatives of the largest banks in Burkina Faso, Chad, Central African Republic, DRC, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Malawi, Mauritius, Rwanda, Sao Tome, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo; Africa’s largest bank by number of branches; Africa’s largest insurance company; as well as many other banks, insurance companies, microfinance and other financial services companies.

Many of Africa’s largest investors attended AFSIC 2014, including a wide range of major Africa focused funds that made presentations such as Actis, African Development Bank, Amethis Finance, CDC, Development Partners International, European Investment Bank, FMO, Frontier Markets Fund Managers, Helios, Leapfrog Investments, TLG Capital, T Rowe Price and the World Bank.
