Yaw has led Merson Capital since its inception. He has the led on consulting mandates for the development of energy projects including hydroelectric dams, thermal and solar generation. He has led on the appraisal and feasibility of nearly $1bn worth midstream and downstream oil & gas projects. He previously worked for 10 years as CFO in the mining sector in Ghana. Yaw listed 2 companies on the ASX and 1 on the TSX.
Yaw recently co-founded Origen Infrastructure Fund to invest early stage capital in the development of infrastructure projects from concept to financial close.
He holds a BSc Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana and a PGDip Financial Strategy from Saïd Business School, Oxford University, UK.
