Biography

Mr. Abdel Aal has over 22 years of progressive professional experience in Corporate Banking, direct investments, private equities, investment banking and market research. Developed through his involvement in the execution of more than 80 transactions worth more than US$7 billion across the MENA region.

He is currently the Managing Director and the Head of M&A at KAMCO Investment Company. He was previously the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Pharos Holding. He also worked in CIB, CI Capital, Dubai Islamic Bank, Ahli United Bank and Concord International Investment Group.

Mr. Abdel Aal is an Independent Board Member and Head of Internal Audit Committee of both; Ahram Security Group (ASG) and Carina Wear. He is also a founding member and head of the Training Committee of the Egyptian Private Equity Association (EPEA) and a member of Egyptian Capital Market Association.

Mr. Abdel Aal graduated in 1997 from Ain Shams University with highest honors in a Bachelor of commerce degree in Business Administration, from Faculty of Commerce, English Section. He is credit certified as he successfully completed the Commercial International Bank of Egypt (CIB) Credit Course, ranking the first.
