Nick Crasner is the Chairman and Founder of Crasner Capital.
One of the youngest people in history to own a regulated Investment Bank in the United Kingdom, Mr. Crasner is responsible for the strategic direction of Crasner Capital. Mr. Crasner, who has won multiple awards for deal making and entrepreneurship, originates and manages the Firm’s relationships in Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia and India. Mr. Crasner has extensive experience assisting Financial Services companies and Consumer businesses across a range of transactions, including M&A, equity and debt financing and restructurings. Mr. Crasner has a deep network of contacts spanning Emerging Markets investors and Private Equity funds and is a sort after advisor for Private Equity sponsors.
Mr. Crasner has been recognized by numerous sources as a “pioneer in Emerging Markets Investment Banking” and his clients describe him as a “trusted advisor”.
Mr. Crasner is also widely published on macroeconomics, Investment Banking, and foreign direct investment in Emerging Markets. He recently featured in Africa Outlook in an article titled ‘Africa’s Silicon Savannah’.
In addition to his Investment Banking practice, Mr. Crasner is an active principal investor through Crasner Ventures, a venture capital vehicle headquartered in London. He is also the Founding Partner of a pre-eminent retained search and consulting firm called Crasner Consulting.
