Biography

Nerina Visser CFA is the former president of CFA Society South Africa, a professional body with more than 2,000 members in the SADC region. During her tenure she lead the Africa Outreach Project to develop African capital markets, working with regulators and employers, investment professionals and candidates aspiring to join the industry. The publication of the CFA Research Foundation “African Capital Markets Brief: Challenges and Opportunities” represented a highlight in an ongoing mission to develop and grow Africa’s Capital Markets for the ultimate benefit of society and the people of Africa.

She is a CFA charterholder and investment professional with more than 25 years of experience.
