Biography

Michael Okaredje is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Pickmeup Technologies, a transport technology company redesigning the way people move around their cities.

Michael graduated from Ambrose Alli University in Nigeria with Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Prior to Pickmeup, Michael has founded multiple companies in the IT and energy sector and helped scale them up by winning multi-million naira contracts in Nigeria, West Africa.

Michael leads the creation and continuous development of Pickmeup’s overall product, technology, business strategy and growth. With Pickmeup, he hopes to create a more social, sustainable and affordable transportation system in Africa and eventually around the world, to make cities safer and better connected.
