Biography

Hazel Taylor is Director of Investor Relations at CDC Group. Hazel launched the Investor Desk in 2020 to deepen CDC’s relationships with peer investors and increase commercial interest in African and Asian private capital markets. She was formerly Director of Business Development at Acumen Fund, raising early-stage private equity funds serving low-income communities in Africa and Asia. She has also worked at the Vitol Group and the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX), as well as non-profit organisations in Europe and Asia. Hazel holds an MSc in International Development Management, an MSc in Information Systems, and a BA in Languages from King’s College London.
