Biography

Franck Alain Behiblo, Managing Director, Head of Strategy and Business Development

As a Managing Director at Quantum Global, Franck heads the Group’s Strategy and Business Development efforts into Sub-Saharan Africa. Franck focus area is Innovative Investment scheme and he has pioneered a number of investments solutions mainly targeted at Insurance companies, central banks, pension and Sovereign funds. Franck is also a constant guest speaker at various forums, most notably the world pension fund Summit, the sovereign wealth fund institute. Franck started his career at UBS’s Fixed Income Department focusing on emerging markets, he subsequently joined UBS’s Economic Research team specializing on Europe most notably France, Italy and Spain. After a stint at HEC Lausanne to complete an advanced degree in Financial Asset Management and Engineering (FAME), Franck joined EGL, a hard trading Commodities House where he worked in the Research department and joined the Trading Desk later as a commodity trader. In 2008, Franck returned to UBS to lead the bank’s overall effort and cross divisional strategy towards Africa, instituting a number of initiatives which included the successful UBS Africa Forum 2010 and 2012, which culminated with the subsequent establishment of UBS’s footprint in Nigeria in 2014.
Franck holds an Msc in Economics from South-eastern University of London.
