Chantelé is the COO of the Africa Business Group for PwC UK. She was previously the Africa Financial Services Lead, and Southern Africa Lead. She has spent over 10 years working in financial services on the African continent. Since joining PwC South Africa, Chantelé has worked as an auditor and consultant to African and British companies, including those listed on the FTSE100, JSE, and other African stock exchanges. She has worked in several business areas at PwC; her current focus being on UK companies who wish to expand into Africa, and strategies for African companies in the UK. Her expertise ranges across internal and external audit, as well as controls, governance and regulatory consulting, for insurers, asset managers and banks. Other experience includes tax, liquidations and forensics. She has also written on investment governance for global financial magazines.

Chantelé is a Director on the South African Chamber of Commerce in the UK.

The SA Chamber is The SA Chamber of Commerce is an umbrella organisation and conduit for trade, community and investment into and out of South Africa. The SACC aims to bring under one concerted effort, a forum and meeting point for businesses who have an interest in both the UK and South Africa in an attempt to facilitate the development of business opportunities.


Chantelé is a Trustee of help2read in the UK and South Africa.

The help2read program is based on an established UK child literacy charity, and has been adapted to meet the needs of South African society. The help2read program seeks to improve child literacy among primary school students in by offering one-on-one tutoring by volunteers. The program also seeks to address coaching and mentoring, as well as the lack of skills development and unemployment issues within the adult South African population. Literate, unemployed adults are given extended skills development training as Literacy Tutors.


Chantelé was also previously an innovaBRICS & Beyond Advisory Board Member.
