Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Fellow-Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Full Member-Chartered Institute of Treasury Management of Nigeria. He also holds a License in business competence from the European Council for Business Competence, Vienna. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid at the KALU Institut in Spain.
Andrew started his professional career as a Resident Auditor with FinBank Plc (now FCMB) where he was primarily responsible for setting internal controls and managing the bank’s compliance with various regulators and regulations. He later joined Society for Family Health where he worked as Finance & Admin Coordinator. Andrew also worked as Grants and Subcontracts Associate with Mailman School of Public Health-Columbia University (now Centre for Integrated Health Programs). He had a brief stint with FHI360 as Senior Finance & Admin. Officer before joining CRS as Grants Manager, a position he occupied for over three years working across four country programs- Nigeria, Togo, Benin and Uganda. He is currently the Nigeria Country Program Coordinator at the United States African Development Foundation.
An Accountant with a penchant for restructuring accounting, reporting and controls systems for businesses and NGOs, Andrew also specialized in business planning, Insolvency & corporate re-engineering and Accounting software.
