Biography

Wim van der Beek is the founder and Managing Partner of Goodwell Investments.

Within Goodwell, Wim van der Beek manages Aavishkaar Goodwell India Microfinance Development Company I and II and serves on the Board and Investment Committee of Goodwell West Africa Microfinance Development Fund and the uMunthu Fund. He also serves on the board of portfolio companies MFS Africa, Nomanini and WhereIsMyTransport.

Before founding Goodwell Investments, Wim van der Beek was a Partner and financial services expert at PWC for over ten years. Wim is an investment specialist with over two decades of experience in early-stage equity, financial structuring, cross border direct investments, and private equity investments.

Wim van der Beek holds a Master’s in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has enjoyed post-graduate education at INSEAD, Darden and at several of Europe’s oldest universities.
