Biography

Thomas Heinig is Senior Project Manager for Financial Sector Development and Global Funds at KfW Bankengruppe. He is responsible for the origination and execution of finance transactions and portfolio management, including monitoring. He serves as a financial sector specialist for Mozambique and internal advisor for equity investments in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining KfW in 2010, initially as Senior Risk Manager, Thomas served as Senior Risk Manager at HSH Nordbank AG and Landeskreditbank Baden-Württemberg.

Thomas holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Goettingen and is a Certified Credit Analyst (DVFA).
