Biography

Rotimi has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, private equity investing, M&A advisory, and senior management with leading institutions in Africa. He is currently a partner of Apis Partners LLP and heads their offices in Lagos.

Rotimi is also an Independent Non-Executive Board member of Diamond Bank and Director of Rendeavour Group. He was Chairman of RenMoney, Group Head, Ecobank Capital Nigeria until 2013, CEO of Renaissance Group West Africa from 2006 to 2012.

Prior to Renaissance Group, Rotimi served as Chief Investment Officer with African Capital Alliance (ACA), where he was responsible for establishing ACA’s SME Funds in 2001 and was CEO of the Fund from inception.

Rotimi was the pioneer President of the Venture Capital Association of Nigeria (VCAN) and was a Director of the African Venture Capital Association (ACVA) from 1994 and was elected as Chairman in March 2008.
