Biography

Before Philip Sigwart joined Baobab Group, Philip Sigwart served as Director for SME Banking at Equity Group Holdings, one of the leading banking groups in East Africa. Previously, he held several senior management positions at the ProCredit Group, and served as CEO in ProCredit subsidiaries in Kosovo, Georgia, and DRC. Philip Sigwart started his career within the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development – Russia Small Business Fund. Philip holds a master degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
