Biography

Obi is Chief Innovation Officer at Asoko Insight, establishing the company’s operations and strategic partnerships across the African region. Asoko Insight today is the leading provider of corporate data on privately-held companies in Africa.

Obi has 20 years experience in technology-driven business development and transformation, the last 9 years of which have been focused on the rapidly evolving African entrepreneurial space. Prior to joining Asoko, Obi was Managing Director of Lamudi (Jumia Home) Nigeria before its acquisition. He has previously led tech-enabled business transformation programmes at Thomson Reuters, Philips Electronics and Vodafone.

Obi has an Executive MBA from the London Business School and a B.Engr in Electronics Engineering from the University of Nigeria.
