Biography

Nirav has been with Kaizenvest since 2018. Prior to that, he was with the Tata Group for over 20 years in various roles including as the Chief Executive Officer of Tata ClassEdge and Tata Interactive Systems, and Vice President – Chairman’s Office. Nirav has led several international projects and collaborations in the fields of telecommunications and aerospace and served as Director on the Boards of companies within and outside India. He is the founding co-chair of the education track of the Impact Future Project, and a member of the steering committee of Council of Confederation of Indian Industries’ School Summit. Nirav is a nominee of the Indian government on the governing council of the Jagran Lakecity University. His paper on India’s edufinance success story in July 2020 has been widely acclaimed. The British High Commission recognized Nirav as a Young India Leader in 2013. He has been conferred an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Arts (Management) for his contributions in the space of management, education, and technology. Nirav speaks regularly at events such as USAID’s Global Education Conference where he passionately advocates the need for affordable non-state education, education technology and innovative financing mechanisms for promoting education access and quality.
