Biography

Michelle Patrick-Akinrinade is currently the Anglophone West Africa Investment Advisor to the US Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Prior to this role, Michelle Patrick-Akinrinade worked at Chapel Hill Denham (an independent Nigerian investment banking firm). She has extensive experience in corporate finance, investments and strategy and has executed transactions and worked across a breadth of industries including financial institutions, telecoms, extractive industries, healthcare, building materials, consumer goods, fintech. She has previously worked at Dangote Industries Limited and Paga, and has held positions at GE Capital and Moody’s Investors Service in the US.

Michelle Patrick-Akinrinade holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School University of Pennsylvania and a BBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College, City University of New York.
