Biography

Mark is an experienced investment banking executive and mining entrepreneur. Through MARviK which he co-founded in 2010 he has been a shareholder in the Middelvlei mine since its acquisition from Pamodzi Gold in 2011. He has recently founded Cradle Gold, the world’s second largest independent junior gold mining company by resources which is operating in South Africa’s Witwatersrand Gold basin. He was previously the Country Head of Macquarie Bank South Africa and later Head of Macquarie Securities, Derivatives & Delta One for Europe, Middle East and Africa
