Biography

Maria Largey has 20 years’ experience as a financial professional with the last decade focused on impact investing in Emerging Markets. Maria has a proven track record in investing across various products and regions, having worked in over 25 countries within Europe, the US and Emerging Markets.

She is currently the Head of Financial Services Equity at CDC, where she runs a team focused on investing in financial institutions across Africa and South Asia. Prior to her focus on development finance, Maria worked at JPMorgan Asset Management in New York and London where she promoted JPM’s investment solutions to mutual and pension funds, insurance companies and other financial intermediaries.

Maria earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Maria is currently based in London and has both US and UK citizenship.
