Biography

Lisa Mazaleni is the Deputy Director for Aquaculture Investment Promotions at the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment in South Africa. Her portfolio focusses on aquaculture sector development; investment promotion and facilitation, and supporting industry with access to local and international markets. With 13 years’ combined experience from the public and private sector, Lisa Mazaleni has worked at all levels of government including municipal and provincial. She has expertise in strategic corporate communications for a listed company.
