Biography

“Karim EL HNOT is the Deputy head of the investment bank of Société Générale Maroc and CEO of Sogécapital Gestion the asset management arm of the bank. Karim has more than 24 years of experience in the asset management industry.

He was successively equity analyst, fixed income fund manager, CIO and Deputy CEO in major asset management firms in Morocco before joining Sogécapital Gestion as CEO in 2015. Karim was the leader of a team that won multiple fund awards including the Lipper Award for Best Group MENA – Bond category in 2019 and 2020. He holds a BBA from “ESG Maroc” and an MBA from Rawls School of business (Texas Tech University).”
