Biography

Kamil is a business builder, angel and experienced private equity investor in financial services, digital finance and technology sectors. Kamil is based in London and part of LGT Impact, a direct private equity arm of LGT Group managing assets of approx. USD 190 billion.

Prior to joining LGT, Kamil worked at The Abraaj Group, a USD 14 billion investor focused on emerging market where he had been investing in the financial services, energy and real estate sectors, and also led a number of business development initiatives, contributing to the launch of Abraaj’s healthcare, energy and private credit businesses.

Prior to Abraaj, Kamil worked at Goldman Sachs in London where he led a number of M&A, buyout, equity and debt capital market transactions in telecom, media and fintech sectors in EMEA, and before that, at the World Bank and IFC where he led applied policy projects and published on financial inclusion including mobile financial services and international migrant remittances as well as on other diverse financial sector issues with the IMF, CGAP and other partners.

Kamil graduated with an MBA from London Business School and an MA in Economics from the Cracow University of Economics. Kamil also studied at Columbia University, Vanderbilt University and the U.S. Bank Administration Institute where he graduated with Great Distinction from executive education in Bank Operations and Technology.
