Biography

“Jonty is a sustainability and international development specialist, experienced in strategy consulting, applied and academic research, project management and technical advisory services. He is passionate about sustainable development and solving complex multi-scale environmental and socio-economic challenges across Africa.

Jonty holds an MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management from Oxford University and an MSc in Environmental Economics from Rhodes University. His focus is on creating market incentives for sustainable and climate-resilient development through both innovative and sustainable financing instruments and impact-first business and project development. Jonty has worked across a wide variety of sectors and impact areas including agriculture, natural resource management, financial services, biodiversity conservation, forestry and renewable energy amongst others”
