Gilbert Ewehmeh, SP

Gilbert Ewehmeh, SP is a Social Entrepreneur, a Business Development Consultant, Founder and Managing Director of YES Cameroon a social innovation enterprise supporting and promoting startups and SME. He is an Associate Lecturer in the University of Yaounde II, SOA where he lectures entrepreneurship and enterprise creation, production and operation management and innovation and practice.

Ewehmeh is the CEO of STARTUP’NKAP INC. an Innovative Public Limited Company that offers Financial and Investment services to startups ventures, small and medium sized enterprises, governments and international agencies.

He was recently appointed (August 2019) as the Vice President in charge of Projects of the Association des Entrepreneurs du Cameroon (Cameroon Association of Entrepreneurs)

He is an expert on investment and trade related issues with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and a consultant/expert with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Central Africa Regional Office working on the Intergovernmental Committee of Expert programs, Digital Economic projects in Central Africa. He is currently piloting in collaboration with the European Union in Cameroon on Structuring the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Cameroon.

Ewehmeh has works in collaboration with diplomatic missions such as the United States Embassy, British High Commission, Israel Embassy and the French Embassy all in Cameroon with focused on business and entrepreneurship related activities.

Ewehmeh is a mentor and coach for numerous programs and awards; including the African Entrepreneurship Award, The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme and the African Change Makers Fellow Program etc…
