Biography

Jens is Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Allianz Africa since 2018. In previous roles, he covered Allianz’ investment portfolios in France, Germany, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. His experience ranges from Asset-Liability Management (ALM) over asset management to data analytics and processing. Before joining Allianz Group in 2002, Jens started his career in econometric research at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW).

Jens holds a doctoral degree in economics and is a CFA chartholder.
