Biography

Divya is a South African actuary with nine years of global experience working in financial services across the insurance, payments and fintech sectors in emerging markets. She has prior experience working on partnership-driven growth strategies, product development and financial inclusion initiatives for Old Mutual across Africa, Micro Insurance Academy in India and Mastercard in the UK. She is currently working on global partnerships at Bitbond and completing her MBA at London Business School.

She is passionate about developing financial solutions that empower under-served customer segments in emerging markets – and how financial products can bring dignity and independence to customers.
