Biography

Davina Wood is a Principal at the Affordable Housing Institute, specializing in African affordable housing finance. She has ten years of experience in the financial sector, including four years at JPMorgan’s Community Development Bank in NYC. In addition to working with private sector clients interested in investing in Africa, she has experience working with the World Bank on Urban Development and Housing in Ethiopia, and has completed research projects for the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa. Davina holds an MIA in International Finance from Columbia University and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and proficient in French.
