Biography

Caroline Chinhuru is an Investment Officer at Calvert Impact Capital, joining the investments team in 2017. Caroline Chinhuru grew up in Zimbabwe where she experienced firsthand how fragmented capital markets and inefficient capital flows can significantly curtail community development. This experience led her to her current role where she now works to help structure and deploy capital with the goal of making impact investable. Caroline Chinhuru supports portfolio management and deployment across multiple sectors and regions with a focus on renewable energy in Africa.

Caroline Chinhuru also sits on MCE Social Capital’s SGB investment committee supporting the deployment of private debt into small and growing businesses in emerging markets including Africa.
