Biography

Berthran is an accomplished, goal-oriented executive leader with a comprehensive management background encompassing the areas of
business development, financial management, marketing and sales. He has spent over 14yrs building businesses and advising several multinational clients in their business development and investment efforts around the globe.

He is currently the CEO of Tendy LLC a consulting firm advising US and Africa based companies on their growth efforts in emerging and frontier markets. While also advising investors on the best strategies to accurately deploy capital. Prior to this, he was the Group Managing Director of Tendy Group, a holding company with interests in real estate, retail, logistics and distribution in Nigeria.

Berthran has also served in various general management and technical positions globally. He served in key roles as an Assistant Director at
Columbia University in New York and as a Senior Project Manager at The Resource Group (TRG), a Washington DC based strategic equity
firm investing and building innovative software and IT- enabled service companies.

Berthran is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Education program, he also holds a Masters degree in Applied
Information technology and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Computer Science.

He is a passionate advocate of building strong private and public African institutions to drive the growth story of the continent. He is a member of the African Leadership Network, Africa CEO forum and Continental Business Network of NEPAD. He is also the chair for the International Market Place, Global Village project’s sustainability committee in the state of Indiana, USA.
