Biography

Anbar Jowaheer is a team leader in the Structured Finance team. Anbar is in charge of originating, structuring and executing structured finance deals within the international space. She has experience in structured debt bank with experience in leveraged, acquisitions, asset finance and project finance across the mid and large cap spectrum. Prior to joining the MCB in 2016, Anbar worked in London for 12 years at major Financial Institutions (Merrill Lynch and Citigroup amongst others) in the merger acquisitions and private equity space. She focused on advising major European clients in the financial institutions space on various transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and leveraged buyouts. Anbar holds a first class BSc Economics from London School of Economics (LSE) and is both a CFA charter holder and a Chartered Banker.
