Amalia Lui is a qualified practicing Advocate in Tanzania with elven years’ experience in dealing with complex commercial matters, particularly in the extractive sector, energy and telecom. As a senior lawyer, Amalia Lui has worked for local and international law firms and has been a key legal adviser in high profile projects within and outside of the East Africa region. She has experience in representing international clients in negotiations with Government authorities. Amalia Lui brings a great commercial sense into any legal transaction and she always has a unique approach to transactions. Having worked nationally and internationally, Amalia Lui has an extensive experience in the extractive sector. She does not only know the extractive sector, but she understands the commercial realities of doing business in Tanzania and has extensive experience in contracts and projects advisory. After having worked for international law firms, she has set up a law office focused on project advisory in the extractives, energy and telecom sectors.
