Biography

Abhishek is a Partner with the Aavishkaar Africa Fund and has nearly 14 years of experience across investment management, corporate finance and business consulting. He has managed financial assets (loans, equity and hybrids) worth USD 450 Mn and has extensive experience in origination, financial analysis, deal-structuring and execution in housing, hospitality and commercial real estate with JM Financial and Everstone Capital. Before Aavishkaar, Abhishek worked with a number of non-profits, foundations, impact investors and social enterprises in New York while pursuing his Masters in International Finance from Columbia University. In addition, Abhishek has a PGDM from IIM Lucknow and an engineering degree from NSIT, New Delhi.
