TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The fee for each event will include one delegate place at the conference, refreshments, lunch and any relevant documentation. No delegate will be able to gain admittance to the conference unless payment of the fee has been received.
Delegates are required to pay any VAT or other indirect tax which is applicable to the country that the conference is being held in.
Within 48 hours of receipt of your registration and payment, you should be issued with a confirmation email. If you do not receive an email within this time frame, please contact the registration office.
Non-paying delegates are those delegates who are nominated by sponsors, or are invited speakers or media persons or other persons identified by Africa Events Ltd at its discretion.
Cancellations of delegate places and meeting spaces received by the registration office prior to 21 days before the commencement of the conference will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the applicable registration fee. Cancellations received between 21 days and 7 days before the commencement of the conference will attract a cancellation fee of 50%. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the commencement of the conference will attract a cancellation fee of 100%.
Cancellations for the Meet African Dealmakers Event received by the registration office prior to 14 days before the commencement of the conference will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the applicable registration fee. Cancellations received less than 14 days before the commencement of the conference will attract a cancellation fee of 100%.
Delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Substitutions may be made, in advance or at the event with proper documentation. Proper documentation consists of a letter on company stationary displaying the name of the original delegate and the person who will be attending in his or her place.
Views expressed by speakers are their own. Africa Events Ltd cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.
It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. Africa Events Ltd cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.
If the conference is cancelled for any reason, except in the case of a force majeure (including but not limited to any act of terrorism, war, riot, civil commotion, compliance with any law or governmental order, fire, flood, storm or adverse weather strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes, delay in transit, power failure, postal delay), a full refund will be made.
Whilst our programs are correct at the time of going to press, in certain circumstances it may be necessary for Africa Events Ltd to alter the content, venue or timing of an Event.
By registering as a delegate, attendees consent to their name, their company name and photograph being published on the AFSIC website, related promotional material and on the conference meeting system.
Africa Events Ltd shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect or consequential losses or damages (including but not limited to loss of profits) whether arising in connection with this Agreement, even if you have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
